HORSE RIDING
If you like horses and you want to taste the joy of riding with them, we can arrange for you a horse riding lesson, if you are beginner, lasting about 1 hour or stroll on a horseback for the connoisseurs, lasting from 1 to 4 hours. All our trips start from the surroundings of Nafplio in a local farms and passes through rural roads within nature and are guided by an experienced-certificated guide – rider. The horses are all trained and learned with the people, looking for love and caress wherever possible. The term: hippotherapy means “therapy using a horse”. The hippotherapist is, a physical therapist, physician, psychologist, sociologist, occupational therapist (and all other professions in the field of psychology and medicine) with additional training in the use of the horse moving.
CYCLING
While at Nafplio, meet one of the most common means of transport to discover the city! Rent a bicycle or just register to the city hall to get one for free! If you want to get one from the shared municipal bikes, you go with your ID to the city hall and register. After the registration you will receive the passwords and all necessary codes to use this outside of the hall in a small system with bicycles. The system is open for use to any resident or visitor of our city, as long as you are up to 18 years old. Users will be able to pick up their bike from any station they want and leave it at any station.

Photo tour aims to the selection of various andscapes which offer a unique chance both for the exploration of their natural beauty and unforgetable photographic moments. Special photo seminars have been designed for all levels, accompanying each tour in a different way. The means of transportation vary from vans and bicycly to our own feet. This is an calling not only to photographers, but also to people who wish to experience the viewing of these landscapes through the lense of their machine…
WALKING
The old town maintains it’s seductive charm through the slated alleys, the blooming bougainvilleas on the balconies, the terraces of the elegant neoclassicals, the well-preserved mansions and the ottoman fountains.Inhabited since antiquity and ruled by Byzantines, Franks, Venetians and Turks, Nafplio’s history is just as colourful and varied as its many charming buildings. It was the Venetians who undoubtedly left the most impressionable mark, seen in the city’s architecture and layout. They were also responsible for the construction of the Palamidi Fortress, which later fell to the Turks. Nafplio is brightest moment came in 1821 when Ioannis Kapodistrias the first leader of the recently-liberated Greek Republic declared the city as the country’s capital.
